Most roofers write an estimate. We advocate for your home.
A lot of roofing contractors now use drones and satellite imaging to assess damage before they ever set foot on your property. It sounds efficient. The problem is that drone imagery misses things a trained human eye catches up close. Granule loss patterns, soft metal damage on vents and flashing, subtle hail strikes on specific shingle orientations. When those details are missing from the inspection, they are missing from the claim. And when they are missing from the claim, your insurance company does not have to pay for them.
We have seen it happen. A homeowner gets a drone inspection, files a claim based on that report, and the adjuster either denies it or cuts the scope significantly because the documentation does not hold up. Now they are stuck with a partial payout on a roof that needed full replacement. That does not happen when someone physically gets on your roof, measures every strike, and documents what is actually there.
Every inspection is done by a person, on your roof, by hand. That is the only way we work.
The Roofing Process
From the first call to the final nail sweep.
Most homeowners have never filed a roofing claim. Here is exactly what working with RSG Construction looks like.
Free Manual Inspection
We do not use drones. A member of our team physically gets on your roof and inspects it by hand. HAAG certified, and trained to see exactly what insurance adjusters look for. Hail strike size and density, granule loss, damage to soft metals, flashing integrity, ventilation issues. Drone imagery cannot document any of that with the accuracy a claims file requires. A manual inspection can, and that documentation is what gets your claim approved at full value.
Claim Guidance and Adjuster Meeting
We walk you through the claims process and are present when the insurance adjuster arrives. That matters. Adjusters work for the insurance company. We are there to make sure nothing gets minimized or missed. If the initial estimate comes in low, we know exactly what to challenge and how.
Material Selection
We install quality shingles from leading manufacturers. Depending on the product selected, your roof may qualify for a lifetime manufacturer warranty. We will walk you through your options and help you choose what makes sense for your home and your claim.
Installation
Experienced crews. Typically completed in a single day. We run a magnetic nail sweep multiple times across your entire property before we leave. Your yard will look like we were never there. Your roof will show that we were.
Warranty and Walkthrough
Every RSG Construction installation includes a workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranty coverage depends on the product selected. We do a final walkthrough before we consider the job complete, and we stand behind our work long after we leave.

Drones miss things.
We do not.
Know Your Policy
ACV or RCV? It changes everything about your payout.
The type of coverage you have determines whether your insurance company pays what your old roof was worth or what a new one actually costs. Most homeowners do not know which they have until they file. Understanding it before the adjuster arrives puts you in a much better position.
Understand Your Coverage OptionsCommon Questions
What homeowners ask us most.
It depends on your policy type and the extent of the damage. If you have an RCV policy and the damage meets your insurance company's threshold, yes, a full replacement is typically covered minus your deductible. If you have an ACV policy, you will receive a depreciated payout. The key is having someone on your side during the inspection who knows what adjusters look for and how claims are scoped. That is exactly what we do.
