    Start to Finish

What the process looks like from the first call to the final check.

Every step below is something RSG Construction manages on your behalf. You make the calls. We handle the rest.

    01

    You Call Us First

Before you contact your insurance company. This matters more than most homeowners realize. Once you file a claim the insurance company's clock starts. We want to inspect your roof first so we have our own documentation before the adjuster is ever assigned. That preparation changes what happens at every step that follows.

    02

    Free Manual Inspection

A member of our team physically gets on your roof. HAAG certified. No drones. We inspect every slope, every elevation, every piece of soft metal. We document hail strikes, measure density, check flashing, ventilation, gutters, and siding. We photograph everything. You get an honest assessment of what is there before any decision is made.

    03

We Walk You Through the Findings

After the inspection we sit down with you, in person or by phone, and walk through every photograph and every finding. If the damage supports a claim we explain why. If it does not we tell you that honestly. No pressure either way. Your decision.

    04

    You File Your Claim

Once you decide to move forward you contact your insurance company and file. We walk you through exactly what to say. Keep it specific to the storm event and the damage we documented. Do not speculate. Do not overclaim. Let the documentation do the work.

    05

    We Attend the Adjuster Meeting

Your insurance company sends an adjuster to inspect the damage. This is the most important step in the entire process and the one most homeowners go through alone. We are there. We walk the roof alongside the adjuster, reference our documentation, and make sure the full scope is in the estimate. This is where most homeowners lose thousands of dollars without knowing it. Not on our watch.

    06

We Review the Estimate With You

When the insurance estimate arrives we go through it line by line. If the scope is complete and the numbers are fair we move forward. If items are missing or pricing is off we address it. A supplement request or reinspection is a normal part of the process. The first estimate is not always the final word.

    07

    Installation Day

Materials are delivered the morning of or the day before. Our crew arrives early. Tearoff, decking inspection, underlayment, shingles, flashing, ridge cap, cleanup. Most residential roofs are complete in one day. We run magnetic nail sweeps three to five times across the entire property before we leave. We do a final walkthrough with you before the crew pulls out.

    08

    Second Check and Warranty

Your insurance company releases the withheld depreciation as a second check once the work is complete and documentation is submitted. We walk you through the final billing so you know exactly where every dollar went. Your manufacturer warranty and RSG Construction workmanship warranty both begin the day we finish. You are covered from both directions.

    What Homeowners Tell Us

The things people consistently do not expect when they work with us.

"I literally had to do nothing other than pick out colors."

    Smithville homeowner

Once the claim starts we handle the billing, coordinate the depreciation release, and manage the installation schedule. Most homeowners are surprised by how little they have to do.

"I cannot believe how clean it was after what I just watched happen."

    Kearney homeowner

Tearoff looks chaotic. Cleanup is thorough. We run magnetic nail sweeps multiple times across every inch of the property before we leave. Nails in driveways and landscaping are not acceptable to us.

"I expected to fight with the insurance company. I did not have to."

    Liberty homeowner

When the inspection is done right and the adjuster meeting goes well the claim process is much less confrontational than homeowners expect. Good documentation does most of the work before anyone has to push back.
