Warranty
The Material Matters as Much
as the Installation.
RSG Construction installs top-tier roofing materials from leading manufacturers. Every installation comes with a manufacturer warranty registered to your home and our own workmanship warranty that covers the installation itself. Two layers of protection for KC Northland homeowners.
Our Material Standard
We install materials we trust. Here is why that matters.
Every roofing contractor has a material story. Many install whatever the distributor has available at the best price that week. Some switch brands based on job margins. We take a different approach. RSG Construction installs materials from manufacturers we have vetted for performance in Missouri conditions, warranty strength, and long-term reliability.
We work with leading manufacturers including Owens Corning and recommend specific products based on your roof's requirements, your insurance scope, and what performs best for the conditions your home faces. Architectural shingle lines engineered for impact resistance, wind resistance, and color retention that holds up over time.
We install what we would put on our own homes. Every time.
Understanding Your Coverage
Two layers of warranty protection on every RSG Construction installation.
Most homeowners do not think about warranty coverage until something goes wrong. Here is what is in place before that day comes.
Manufacturer Warranty
The manufacturers we work with back their roofing materials with warranties that cover defects in the shingles themselves. This is separate from installation quality. It covers the material performing as engineered over its rated lifespan. When RSG Construction installs your roof the installation is registered with the manufacturer so the warranty is attached to your specific home. If a material defect occurs the claim goes to the manufacturer directly, not just to us.
RSG Construction Workmanship Warranty
Manufacturer warranties cover the material. They do not cover how it was installed. Our workmanship warranty covers the installation itself, flashing, sealing, fastening, and every other aspect of how the roof was put together. If an installation issue causes a problem after the job is complete we come back and make it right. That commitment is what separates a contractor who stands behind their work from one who disappears after the check clears.
Why This Distinction Matters
Most warranties only cover material. Here is what that means for you.
Material-Only Coverage
What most manufacturers provide.
A standard manufacturer warranty covers defects in the shingle itself. If the material fails prematurely the manufacturer replaces the material. What it does not cover is the labor cost to remove the old shingles, install the replacements, and restore the roof to its original condition. That labor cost falls to the homeowner unless a separate workmanship warranty is in place.
Material and Labor Coverage
What RSG Construction installations include.
When RSG Construction installs your roof the manufacturer warranty is registered to your home at the time of installation. If a covered material defect occurs the warranty addresses both the material and the associated labor costs. Combined with our workmanship warranty your installation is protected from both sides, the material that was supplied and the work that was performed.
What Gets Installed
Architectural shingles built for Missouri weather.
Wind Resistance
Rated for the storms KC Northland sees.
The architectural shingles we install are wind resistance rated to withstand the high wind events common in Missouri storm season. Wind resistance ratings are an engineering specification, not a marketing claim. They determine how your roof performs in the next significant weather event.
Impact Resistance
Built to handle hail.
Impact resistant shingle options carry Class 4 ratings, the highest classification for hail impact resistance. In some cases Class 4 rated materials qualify for insurance premium discounts. We discuss material options with every homeowner before installation.
Color and Curb Appeal
A new roof changes how your home looks.
A storm damage replacement is not just a functional repair. It is an opportunity to refresh the exterior of your home with a color and profile you choose. We bring samples to every pre-installation consultation so you can see the options in person.

Quality material.
Quality installation.
Both backed by a warranty. Neither something you have to think about again.
